I'm the president of the Gamma Iota Sigma Delta Alpha Chapter, at NAU. I'm a Finance and Business Management Major. After helping start the GIS chapter at NAU, I became aware of the insurance industry and added a Risk Management and Insurance Certificate. I've been to several symposiums and leadership conferences with the Chapter around the US. I have learned a alot about the industry from attending these conferences and networking with industry professionals and other students. I am eager to continue learning about all the opportunities and making new connections!

Charlotte Cliatt, ASU

Charlotte Cliatt is the exiting co-president of GIS at ASU, an organization that promotes, encourages, and sustains student interest in insurance, risk management, and actuarial science as professions. She has been a member of GIS at ASU for three years and has attended numerous GIS Annual Conferences, WSIA Student Symposiums, and other events connecting students to the insurance industry. Charlotte has been a student in the ASU actuarial science program for many of her college years, earning a bachelor's degree in actuarial science in May 2022, and soon a master's degree in actuarial science upon her graduation this May. She has passed three actuarial exams during her time at ASU, as well as completed three internships. Upon graduation, she will begin her full-time job at Edrington Health Consulting, an HMA Company.

Lydia (Lily) Gabric

GIS at ASU Co-President|

Lydia Gabric is a co-president of GIS at ASU, an international organization that supports students interested in professions within insurance, risk management, and actuarial science. Lydia has been a member of GIS at ASU for four years and has held a leadership position in the organization for the last three years. During this time, she has also earned a bachelor's and a master's degree in actuarial science in May 2021 and May 2022, respectively. Additionally, she has completed four actuarial exams and is continuing her academic journey at ASU while working towards her Ph.D. in Statistics. Lydia currently teaches the Introduction to Actuarial Science course at ASU and is conducting actuarial research. Inspired by outstanding faculty members who have been incredible mentors, she hopes to one day become an educator and researcher in actuarial science.
