Smoke Alarm Event
Greetings! Arizona Burn Foundation, the American Red Cross, and east valley local Fire Departments have invited members of the CPCU Good Works Society to volunteer for a Community Smoke Alarm Installation event on Saturday, April 8, 2017 when we will target Phoenix.
Volunteers are needed from 8am-12noon. Placed in teams of three, volunteers will go door-to-door to assigned pre-canvassed homes to install FREE smoke alarms and provide fire safety and burn prevention materials. No experience is necessary; all training, tools and materials are provided that day. Both installers and record keepers are needed. In just 4 hours on Saturday, April 8th, you’ll have a lot of fun and make a real difference in the community.
You are encouraged to register at https://abf.civicore.com/publicLogin/index.php?action=cal. Select April 8, the city of your choice, and sign-up. Once registered complete details will be sent to you about meeting location and what to expect that day. If you have any questions, you can call the Arizona Burn Foundation at 602-230-2041, ext. 104.
